It is with deep regret that the Brewster Fire Department announces the tragic and untimely death of Firefighter WILLIAM 'Billy' MAY, Badge #779, which occurred on March 29th, 2024.

Billy joined the Brewster Fire Department on February 13th of 2020, at the age of 22. He proudly served his community for over 4 years and quickly became a rising star who brought the best out of everyone he interacted with. Billy always had a smile on his face and was a great friend to anyone who knew him.

Uniformed members in attendance are asked to gather on Prospect Street at 9:15 am. Funeral service parking will be limited but available on Eastview Avenue.

There will be a Collation for Family, Friends, and Department members following the funeral at Brewster Fire Headquarters.
