The PCVFA again offers its sincere sympathies to the Mahopac Volunteer FD, this time on the passing of its Sitting President and Past Chief Ronald A. Goodrow.

We share in Mahopac VFD's loss of its dedicated Life Member, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 25th. Chief Goodrow was also a member of the PCVFA, having joined us in 2007. He will be remembered at our annual Memorial Service in 2026.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 2nd (4:00-8:00 PM) at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home (692 US-6, Mahopac NY) with Firematic Services beginning at 7pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal church in Somers (331 NY-100, Somers NY) on Friday, October 3rd at 10:00AM. Private cremation will follow.
