It is with shared sorrow that the Putnam County VFA recognizes and mourns the passing of Past Chief Edward Hojnacki of the Brewster Fire Dept. Chief Hojnacki was also a Past Captain of the BFD's Ambulance, as well as Past President of the Department. In addition, Chief Hojnacki was also a life member of this County Association. Chief Hojnacki passed away on August 1st. At this time, no arrangements have been made but they are pending.
