"It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that the Patterson Fire Department No.1 Inc announces the passing of Life Member and Ex-Chief Robert Smith Sr. Chief Smith Sr. was Chief of the Patterson Fire Department from 1968 - 1971.

Visitation will be held at Dwyer Funeral Home located at 23 South Street, Patterson, NY 12563 Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, from 1600 - 2000 hrs with Fire Department services at 1900hrs Sharp. A mass to be held at Dwyer Funeral Home on November 7th, 2024 at 1100 hrs followed by burial at Maple Avenue Cemetery."

The Officers & Members of the PCVFA share in Patterson FD's loss as Chief Robert Smith Sr. was a 56-year member of the PCVFA. He will be duly recognized at our annual Memorial Service in July.
